From the daughter of the founders of Oilily, Room Seven was born. Brecht Olsthoorn loved to watch her mother make children's clothes and found that she, too, had a keen fashion sense. She eventually followed in her parents' footsteps in creating great quality European childrens clothing and branched out on her own with the Room Seven label.
Oilily mixes prints a bold graphics together to create a true euro chic look. Through its roots in Oilily, Olsthoorn takes on a similar style but adds pretty florals and romantic details to her Room Seven brand.
At the beginning of her career, Olsthoorn began playing with and combining different colors and patterns to create beautiful bedding. She started her own boutique in Alkmaar, Holland, selling textiles and antiques. Once her daughter was born, she branched into clothing.
